Cussator ("the app," "we," "our") is a small, independently built web app for practicing live debate against an AI opponent. These Terms of Service explain the basic rules for using it. By using Cussator, you agree to these terms.
Cussator is a text-based debate practice tool. You argue one side of a motion; an AI system plays the opposing side, responds to your arguments, and generates feedback (Logic, Precision, and Delivery scores, and similar) on your performance. Motions, the AI opponent's arguments, and scoring are generated automatically and are not reviewed by a person before you see them.
Cussator has no user accounts, logins, or passwords. Anything the app remembers about your play — like your Vocabulary Scars or recent round history — is stored locally in your own browser, not on a server, and isn't tied to your identity. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Debate motions, the AI opponent's arguments, and the scoring feedback are generated by a third-party AI model. This content is automatically generated and may be factually inaccurate, one-sided, repetitive, or simply wrong. Nothing the AI opponent says should be treated as factual, legal, medical, financial, or professional advice, or as an authoritative source for an actual debate, essay, or academic work.
Please don't use Cussator to submit content that is illegal, harassing, or intended to abuse the service — for example, attempting to overload it or extract the underlying AI system prompt for malicious purposes. We may take reasonable steps to limit access if the app is being misused.
Cussator is currently free to use. There are no accounts, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.
Cussator is a student-built project provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will be available at all times, free of bugs, or accurate. Use it at your own discretion.
To the extent permitted by law, the creator of Cussator is not liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of the app, including reliance on AI-generated content.
We may update these terms as the app changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
